Cassondra Windwalker
Cassondra Windwalker is the poet of the full-length collection The Almost-Children in addition to the Helen Kay Chapbook Award-winning work The Bench, in which a community finds intersection at a city bench as they cope with loneliness, illness, invisibility, and social injustices. She has also authored several novels, the most recent being the gothic horror Hold My Place, and her short-form works are available in literary journals and art books. She has lived in the South, the Midwest, and the West, and presently writes full-time from the Frozen North. She keeps company mostly with ghosts, literary characters, unwary wild animals, and her tolerant husband.
