Gwen C. Katz is an author, artist, and game designer who lives in Pasadena, California with her husband and a revolving door of transient animals. Her first novel, Among the Red Stars, tells the story of Russia’s all-female bomber regiment known as the Night Witches. When she’s not writing historical fiction, she can often be found gardening, hiking, and teaching kids about wildlife at the local nature center.
